About Your Scouting Experience:

• What inspired you to join Scouts? I joined when Caleb was 5 and we decided to make this our family jam. 
• What has been your most memorable experience in Scouts so far?  So many good memories…Wood Badge, NYLT Staff, so proud of our kids, and scouting as a family.
• Do you have a favorite scouting activity or area of interest? Campout with the kids and kayak trips.
• What is one skill you’ve learned in Scouts that you’re particularly proud of?  Being more confident in my abilities.

Personal Achievements and Goals:

• Have you worked on any major projects or earned any awards in Scouts that you would like to share?  Wood Badge Staff, NYLT Staff, Wood Badge beads, William D. Boyce, District Award of Merit, Roundtable Commissioner, Scout Leader Training Award, Religious Good Shepherd Award

• What goals do you have for your future in Scouts? Helping grow the new Sea to Summit program and help all of our kids be successful on the road to Eagle.

Beyond Scouting:

• What hobbies or activities do you enjoy outside of Scouts?  Homeschool mom, read, cook, spend time with family, museums, kayaking, hiking, traveling…life is an adventure.
• Is there a particular career path or field of study you’re interested in pursuing?  I’m already living my dream.
• How do you think your experiences in Scouts will help you in your future endeavors?  What I love the most about Scouting, is that it gives me a chance to mentor them and to make a difference in their lives.
• If you could plan the ultimate scouting adventure, what would it look like?  Going on a long-term hike…like a portion of the AT ( Appalachian Trail).
• Do you have a favorite quote or motto that inspires you?  “Every Scout deserves a trained leader” & “Do a good turn daily”
